Not all instruction is equal. Here's how to evaluate quality.
Look for PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) or IPTPA-certified coaches. Certification ensures structured, effective teaching methodology.
Clinics are most effective when participants are within 1 skill level of each other. Ask about group composition before registering.
Good clinics mix structured drilling with live play context. A 60/40 or 70/30 drill-to-play ratio is common.
Ideal clinic size is 4–8 players per instructor. More than 12 players per coach means you spend most of the time watching, not doing.
